IDEAS, CAREERS, WHAT COMES NEXT

Former BBC Controller of Comedy Commissioning and Head of Comedy at Sky.

I’m a creative mentor, drawing on more than 30 years’ experience of developing talent, ideas and careers.

I work one-to-one with people who want to move something forward — whether that’s a comedy script, a creative ambition, a new venture or simply working out what comes next.

CREATIVE MENTORING

Sometimes you need someone outside your immediate world to help you see things more clearly.

You may have a script that’s nearly there, an idea you want to get off the ground, a creative ambition that keeps calling or a sense that you’re ready for a change of direction.

My approach combines mentoring with coaching. That means I can draw on my own experience when it’s useful — from television, business and the creative industries — while also giving you the space to explore ideas, challenge assumptions and work out what’s right for you.

Our conversations are warm, practical, completely confidential and focused on moving things forward.

“My script is fundamentally better because of Lucy's wisdom.”
— Charlotte, Comedy Writer

“Lucy guided me gently and expertly towards an entirely new way of thinking. She not only helped me optimise an immediate business opportunity, she encouraged me to reflect on my entire career and challenge the assumptions that had been holding me back.”
— Richard, Entrepreneur
